In loving memory of one who has touched 100's of people in the community in a genuine loving way. Her support was ongoing to Paw Paw and surrounding area. She was the foundation of her family. She was a gift to all who knew her. Debbie passed away suddenly Friday morning, October 31, 2008 at her home. Debbie was born April 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Leonard and Bernice (Mikos) Babin. She was a 1973 graduate of Paw Paw High School and was employed for 35 years at National City Bank as a Vice-President and branch manager. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw and the American Legion, Unit #68 Auxiliary, Paw Paw. Debbie loved traveling, being outdoors and most importantly her family. Debbie was a member of the Gull Road Business Association and the Kalamazoo Public Community Schools Association for School Children Funding. Surviving are her devoted life partner, Mike Moffit; three sisters, Carol (John) Staniszewski of Aiken, SC, Mary (Phillip) Arbanas of Paw Paw and Kathy (Richard) Sutton of Toledo, OH; brother, James (Tina) Babin of Missouri City, TX; nephews, Kevin (Ellyn) Staniszewski of Aiken, SC and Jason (Sarah) Babin of Missouri City, TX; nieces, Heather Staniszewski of Aiken, SC and Ashley (Thomas) Kolenko of Davenport, IA; great nieces and nephews, Duncan Staniszewski, Maddux and Talan Babin and Ariella Kolenko; several aunts and cousins. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM Tuesday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw.
