Passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. Mr. Shaffer was born April 30, 1932 in Cambria, MI, and resided here since 1953, where he was employed at Green Bay Packaging, Kalamazoo. Surviving are his wife, Janet, and five stepchildren and their families, to which he was a wonderful grandpa; a sister, Debbie (Scott) Bracken and her family; a brother, Bob Monselle. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene, in 1991. The family will meet friends Thursday 11 AM until time of service at 2 PM at the
