Passed away Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Meadow Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bloomingdale. Mrs. Schmid was born November 10, 1919 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Hiram and Hanora (Driscoll) Bartley and has lived in the Bangor area for the past 18 years. She attended Sacred Heart Church, Bangor and enjoyed shopping. Surviving are her three children, David Schmid of Kansas City, MO, Dennis (Alyce) Schmid of IN, Nancy (Raymond) Westling of Bangor; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Schmid. The family will meet friends on Friday from 9-11 AM at St. Jude Parish, Gobles where Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM with Fr. Bob Creagan, Celebrant. Interment will be 11:00 AM (CST) Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Arrangements by the
