Passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Rose Arbor, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Tennant was born February 14, 1918, in Chicago and resided in this area over 50 years. She was a member of St. Jude's Parish, Gobles and retired from Gobles Public Schools. Surviving are five daughters, Cynthia (Rick) Altmansberger of NY, Linda (Charlie) Edwards of GA, Peggy (Homer) Rose of Mattawan, Donna (John) Rose of TX, Louise (Gary) Filkins of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren, John (Barb), Shari, Joshua (Jen), Caleb (Alycia), Michael (Monica), Lee; four great-grandchildren, Austen, Adrianna, Tayib, Hazel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1986. The family will meet friends Wednesday 4-6 PM at the

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
