Marguerite passed away Friday, October 17, 2008 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born February 20, 1923 in Paw Paw, the daughter of George and Mary (Nash) Reits. Marguerite was a 1943 graduate of Paw Paw High School. She was a long time employee of the Shopping Center in Paw Paw, retiring in 1992. Marguerite loved to sew and took in alterations for various businesses and individuals around Paw Paw. She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Bane of Chapel Hill, NC and Kathy (Rand) Riggs of Parchment; three granddaughters: Darcy (Ian) Enverga of Connecticut, Shannon (Nathan) Lozinsky of North Carolina, and Stacey Nickrent of Kalamazoo; five great grandchildren: Kain and Kyla Nickrent, Ethan and Caden Lozinsky and Grey Enverga; a brother, William Reits of Grand Rapids; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. A memorial gathering will be held Monday from 6-8 PM at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
