Passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Southwest Regional Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL at the age of 80. She was born Rosetta Williams in Greenville, MI and was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Packard. Before moving to Florida she and her husband of 27 years lived in Mattawan, MI. They owned R&R Dolls and Photo Equipment specializing in mid 19th and early 20th century antiques. Rosetta is survived by her brothers, George Williams, Robert and wife Annabel Williams, and Milo Williams. Also surviving are daughters, Lenora Rydahl, Vicky Hemmes Boyd and her husband Bill, Chris Wagner and her husband Bob, Cindy Codling and her husband Bill, Veronica Lamperti and her husband Bruce Aron, and Deby Weiler of Palo, MI. Rosetta was the grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 4th at Oakwood Christian Reformed Church in Belding, MI at 11 AM. Final internment will be in Muncie, IN. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice in Rosetta's name be made. Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home of Fort Myers is in charge of arrangements.
