There is a Bullock Road, and a prominent (in the 1800's) Bullock family in Metamora and Hadley Twps. in Lapeer County. Some history on the family may be found online. Try to find the book History and Biographies of Genesee, Lapeer and Tuscola Counties. I think a Lapeer Genweb site may have a link. Look up Lapeer on Yahoo search. I believe that's how I found the book. Someone is taking great time typing up that book and putting it online. Also the Lapeer Genealogical Society put out a book recently and there's J Dee Ellis' "Pioneers and History of Lapeer County" pub. 1978 and History of Lapeer County pub 1874?? One member of this family was Ephraim Bullock.
