Maybe a long shot here, but your post caught my attention because of various coincidences. I have an Effie May in my research, but she is Effie May PACE...she was also born around 1880 in Ontario (Yarmouth), and came to Port Huron. I don't suppose Effie May PACE might be the same person, and may have been a PACE by marriage instead of birth, as I have it?
