My kindergarten and 1st grade teacher at Holmes School, a one-room rural school located at Newberry and Pittsburg Roads southwest of Durand, was Hazel LINDQUIST. I don't know if LINDQUIST was her maiden or married name. She died at her home in Perry in 1999 at the age of 96. Does anyone know anything about her and more importantly, does anyone have a picture of her? I am especially interested in a picture taken about 1947-1949, but any will do.
