I am interested in information regarding my grandfather's family who moved to OVID in 1931 and farmed 75 acres. My grandfather, Vincent Holczman operated the Ovid Radio and TV repair store from 1944 to 1969. His parents were Zigmunt and Mary (Progocki) HOLCZMAN. Their children included: Hattie, Vincent, Stanley, Helen, Effie, Veronic, Aloyse, and Anita.

Roxanne, I just got back on the internet thanks to Bobby,
who knows a little more about the computer than me. My moden
connection was screwed up and he fixed it. Plus I plan on
getting another computer sometime in November. Ask me any

Zigmunt had 3 or 4 small grocery type stores in Wyandotte,
before moving to Ovid. Aunt Hattie said then we had to
really start working. I surmised the stores were profitable
in the 20's and when the depression hit, they had many kids
to feed, and Your Great Grandma influenced Zigmut to buy a
farm, because she came from that background in Poland.
In fact I saved my Dads papers and I still have a copy of
the old Deed lying around. Interesting so many ducks,

I came across this message. I am the grandson of Effie Holcman (Brown). Effie's children, Frank, Nancee, William (Skip), Sally (deceased), Joseph, and Ronnie.
