Clara B. WILTSE
Clara B.. WILTSE, 82, of 115 Elizabeth St., Owosso, died Friday at 5:12 p.m. in Owosso Memorial Hospital following a year‘s illness.
Services for Mrs. WILTSE will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Owosso, with the Rev. Fr. Robert KOLENSKI officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The body will rest at Jennings-Lyons Chapel. A Rosary will be said Sunday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. WILTSE was born near Owosso June 11, 1895, the daughter of Frank and Lucy (JASTER) FISHER. She attended schools in the county and the Owosso Business College.
She resided most of her life in Owosso and worked for a time as an operator for Union Telephone Company in Owosso.
She and Raymond C. WILTSE were married in Detroit April 26, 1922. An agent and telegrapher for the Michigan Central and New York Central Railroads, he died in 1967.
Mrs. WILTSE was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and belonged to the church guild and senior citizens of the church.
She is survived by a son, Russell, of Owosso, five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mary WAGNER of Owosso. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank.
