I am looking to do a research exchange. I live in Alexandria, VA and can do research in Fairfax County, VA, Arlington County, VA, the City of Alexandria, the National Archives and the Library of Congress. In exchange I am looking for any information available about Eli Grandmont who married Margaret McCarthy in 1871 in Onota, Schoolcraft County, MI. They had one daughter, Mary, about 1871 or 1872 and a son who was stillborn in 1874. Margaret died in 1875 in Onota. They were married by MA Fox, a Catholic priest and lived in Onota. Any information you could find about land they may have owned, Margaret's burial, Mary's birth or really anything about Eli would be greatly appreciated.
