Schoolcraft County was the residence of some of these family surname members and others were ancestors of the residents. Seeking other researchers to exchange inforamtion with and search further for additonal information on these surnames. Time frames for Lamberts and ancestors was 1800's to the present time. I have quite a data base and can be reached at bettyk90@voyager.net. Thank you.

I am looking for Charles and Sarah E. (Bingaman) KREBS who lived in Schoolcraft, MI. Both were from Snyder County, PA, but when they moved to Michigan I do not know. She was born on 17 Aug. 1857, but I know no other dates. They had four daughters. Any help would be appreciated.

Betty,
I ran across an entry in the 1880 Fed. Census for MI, that had a Basin NEDDO. His spouse was listed as Julia!! As you know I've been looking for a Basil Nedeau married to a Julia Beaver. This is a pretty close match so I'm going to try to check other years in Schoolcraft Cty., Hiawatha TWP.
They are enumerated with a Joseph Musquite? Vol 26 ed37 sheet17 line46 #179

Hello Angus, Please resend your msg to my e-mail address as I think I may not have gotten the complete msg. Yes, I too have a hunch you are on to something. Good luck and please let me know as Schoolcraft county is my home town in the UP where I went to high school.

I also checked my data base and found another possible link to the Nedeaus. I found an Isaac NADOWEGWESSE who lived in Cross village in Emett County in the mid 1850's-1870's.

Our lines are definitly connected. Please let me know what you find, Angus.

Betty,
While at the MI Historical Library last year I came across a Census entry that caught my eye, so I printed it up. This week I was looking at it and it kinda made sense. It is the 1880 Fed. Census MI Schoolcraft Cty., Hiawatha TWP.Listed under #179 is:

Neddo Basin Ind. M 45
----- Julia Ind. F 20 wife
----- Basin Jr. Ind. M 3 son
----- Joseph Ind. M 1 son

I believe this is my grtgrandfather Joseph Nedeau's family.Basin Neddo was born in Quebec, as were his parents. I can't find any mention of a Basin Neddo on the Durant Roll.Maybe he died or went back to Canada?Might have to check Death records of Schoolcraft Cty. 1880-1907.
Is it possible that Basin Neddo was Paw-zhe-daw-naw-quot?
If not how/why is Joseph Nedeau referenced to paw-zhe-daw-naw-quot? On the Durant Roll Paw-zhe-daw-naw-quot goes by the name Peter John 56 m TRA 2819 Namah.
In 1880 Basin was listed as 45 yrs. old that would a birth year of 1835.In 1907 Peter John(Paw-zhe-daw-naw-quot) is listed as 56 yrs. old-1851 birth year? If Basin is older than Paw-zhe-daw-naw-quot why is Basin's son referenced to him and not his father?
As for the other surnames you mentioned the fact that Joseph is referenced to Paw-zhe-daw-naw-quot and not to them makes me assume that they are not related.
I will try to get access to other census to determine who and what happened to Basin Neddo and Julia.
I haven't come across any leads on Anna and Mose Maccabee except that Family Tree has a CD with both their names on it.World Family Tree vol 19 in case you got them.
Still kicking around the Hardwick's. Getting some good leads.
Keep in touch, you and I seem to be heading in the same direction.
