Hello I am looking for info on this family. Miranda is the dau of Capt. Elisha Sheldon who fought in the 'Revolutionary 'War. He died in NY. Miranda's grandfather is Amasa Sheldon, Sr. who also fought in the 'Revolutionary War. This line goes back to the Deerfield MA Massacre and arrived in the US in about 1620, in MA. I would love to share info about the family which lived in NY then Defiance, Co. Oh, and then Hartford, MI.
