KENNEY, David Peter b. 1804 and Samuel C. b. 1802. These brothers were 2 of the 13 children of Peter Kenney and Jane McCowen. Some time between 1804 and 1819, the family moved from Pennsylvania to Ontario. By 1870, David and Samuel were living in Lexington Twp. with their wives and children. David married Elizabeth Shain; their children were Hamilton, Eliza, Elias, Mary, Sarah, William, George, Ronald, and Rebecca. Samuel married Phoebe ???, Arethusa Kilborn, and Cordelia Davidson. His children were Peter D., John Henry,
