Kenneth W. McCarthy, 67, of 1034 Fraser Road, Kawkawlin, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, June 2, 1977, at his residence. He was born in Saginaw on March 4, 1910, but had been a Bay County resident for most of his lifetime. Surviving are his wife, the former Vivian Martin, whom he married on November 30, 1930 in Linwood; two sons, Russell McCarthy of Kawkawlin and Dale McCarthy living in California; seven grandchildren and one brother, Roland McCarthy of Kawkawlin. Mr. McCarthy was the proprietor of the Parrish Road Grocery Store in Kawkawlin. The funeral service will be held Monday from Stapish West. The time will be announced in Sat. paper. Interment will follow in Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Kawkawlin. Friends may call at Stapish West after 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
