Elizabeth M. Hardy--Mrs. Elizabeth McCarthy Hardy, 63 years old, wife of Robert Hardy, died at her home, 613 North Bates street Sunday morning (5/2/1920). She was born in Lockport, N.Y., June 9, 1866. The same year her parents came to Saginaw, which has since been her home. She was married to Mr. Hardy in 1882. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic church. She leaves her husband, one son, Robert, jr., of Lansing, and three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Allore (Annette), Mrs. Murray Sills (Bernice), and Miss Catherine Hardy, all of Saginaw. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Fred Meyers (Johanna) and Miss Katherine (McCarthy) and four brothers, Edward M. (Murphy) and Daniel McCarthy of Saginaw, Zack (sic=Jack) McCarthy of Edmore, and Edmund McCarthy of Merrill.
