My gg grandmother Sarah Burke married William Graham in the Minisota Mine area of Ontonagan County Michigan in 1859. Graham abandoned the family to fight in the Civil war. Does anyone else have any Burkes who worked lived in this area. I am trying to find out where in Ireland she is from. I think she had a sister named Anna Burke. Sarah gave her first daugher, Mary Graham, to Anna Burke to raise.
