Please send me an email. My email address is: gaikin@bellsouth.net.

I can tell you about Lloyd Sr.'s ancestors (the Sweet, Wilber and Aikin families), but the amount of information is too great to post here.

At the moment all I know about Lloyd Sr. is that he was originally known as Lloyd R. Sweet, that he was born in NY state (probably Niagara County) in 1909 to parents Adelbert Laverne Sweet and Iva Wilber Sweet, that he had a brother Donald L. Sweet (later Weaver) (born about 1906 in NY state), that he died before Aug-1950, and that the 1930 census records show Lloyd, his wife Lucy and their children Lloyd and Kenneth living in Waterford Township (Oakland), MI (Lloyd Sr.'s occupation: clerk in furniture store).

Can you tell me anything more about Lucy (such as her maiden surname, her middle name, when and where she died, and where her remains are buried)?

When my time permits I'll look for the family in the 1940 census records and I'll also look for a MI death record for Lloyd Sr.

I was born and raised in Niagara County, NY. Lloyd Sr.and I both were/are descendants of my great-grandfather William H. Aikin and William's wife/my great-grandmother Mary Brown Aikin.

Thanks for responding to my posting.
