i have a newspaper clipping that has biographies & the history of every county. I'm about half way through transcribing it, so far. It has biographies for DM Kneeland, Herman Lunden, Morris Zernichow, Byron B. Farries, James D. Armstrong, H.C. Colladay, Henry Mantz, I.E. Brayton, L.D. Fluent, Joseph H. White, Melvin Stevenson, Rev. J.M. Warren, Thomas Johnson (or Johnston), O.S. Kneeland, C.B. Drake, T.H. Deyarmond, George Sheldon, C.F. Gibbs, E.A. Morris, Charles B. Johnson, Archie C. McKinnon, A.M. Johnson, W.T. Warren, John Stansbrough, Chas. Green, W.E. Sachs, R.J. Craig, Clarence Mantz, Morris Cole, Claud Dutcher, John Scott, Will Scott, E.A. Morris, James Walsh, Fred Curtis, Ted Annibal, Sid Wheeler, Fred Koehlein, Earl Rix, Will McNeven, Thomas H Sheridan, Thomas E. Double, William H. Remington, Martin Nelson, Edward Cameron, Adolph Werner, Robert Kincaid, James Francis, W.T. Warren, J.H. Briley, and Charles A Cain.

After the biographies, the paper gives a short history of every township in the county, and gives photographs and names of everyone that works for the paper. The back page has advertisements, including companies run by the men that are in the biographies.

email me for transcripts, or for a scanned copy.

Hi Amanda,

I am interested in the Herman LUNDEN, who was mentioned in your newspaper clipping. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Louis

I am not from Lewiston, however one of my distant ancestors, Washington ALGER, resided there until his death in 1926.

I have transcribed all of the newspaper records of the Crawford County "Avalanche" 1879-1940 and came across Herman LUNDIN's name there. I am trying to sort all of the people mentioned in this newspaper into family groups, which explains my interest in Herman LUNDIN.

Thank You

Surnames: Lunden
His last name is spelled Lunden & it is his son or grandson that lives here, he is retired & I am guessing in his 70's or later, I am sorry. If you would like there phone no. I will pass it on. Also google Lewiston Historical Society & we have a state historical marker from the state of michigan for Camp Lunden which was a ccc camp.

Thanks for the offer, regarding the phone number of Herman LUNDEN's grandson, but that isn't necessary.

Thanks again,

Louis
