On the LDS search site ( http://www.familysearch.org/ ), there is a Hattie N. HUMPHREY marriage to William E. MCCARTY 30 Sep 1882 in Eaton, Michigan. Believe Eaton would be Eaton Rapids, MI in Eaton Co., south of Lansing area.
