I'm trying to establish the parents, birth and death dates of SUSAN LANGLYE (LANGLEY) PLUM. She was b. abt. 1855. In the 1860 Monroe County Census she is listed as residing with Charles Carmel (b. 1808) and Teresa Campau Carmel. In the Civil War pension records for Daniel Carmel (b. 1844, Charles & Teresa Campau's son) Susan makes an affidafit in Daniel's behalf and claims that she is Daniel's half-sister. In the 1870 Monroe County census she is listed as Susan Plum.
