My mother's brother (half-brother), FRANK DERRICK was married to a Helen DeGrave. They operated a Grocery Store in Kingsford, Mi during the 1940's & 50's.
Antone Derrick was the 1st Husband of my Grandmother Flora Goyan. After the death of Antone Derrick in 1895 she married a Joseph Geniesse who was my mother's father.
In my mother's old photos are the wedding of Frank Derrick & Helen DeGrave and a Mae DeGrave. I have not done any research on the DeGrave Family but would appreciate any information that I could share with my Derrick Cousins.

I have a Marie DEGREVE b. 1840 in Tourinnes-la-Grosse who married a WERY in 1861. This Marie DEGREVE was a sister of Francois Xavier DEGREVE b. 1842.

Francois Xavier DEGREVE married my Great Grand Aunt - Alexandrine MACAU (MACCO)-- and they had a flock of kids in Kewaunee County. They later moved to Menominee County, MI with some of their children. It appears that the older daughters were probably married and stayed in Kewaunee Co.

It's been dificult to find much info on this family. If the Marie I mentioned above is indeed your 3G Grandmother - I have a bit of info on her family.
