Hello I am still looking for information on the Peterson and gustafson families. My great grandfather Gustav (Gust) Peterson owned a store in Wallace called the Peterson Brothers Store. he and his brother Charles also owned a store in Carney I'm not sure if it was also called Peterson bros or not. and they either owned or operated one of the logging camps in that area If anyone has any information on them please let me know. the other names I am searching for are August, Marie, Iner, Halvar, Blanda, Ernest, Emily, Charles Gustafson. Bengt, Christina, Alfred, Josephine, Charles, Gust,Gloria, Stanley, Amy, Verna,Eleanor,Gladwyn and their living siblings. I would appreciate any help. Thanks Jana

The store in Carney was also called the Peterson Brothers Store. They purchased it from Otto Carlson when Otto and his family moved to Washington State. My grandfather, Carl Gustav Peterson Carlson, was Louis Peterson's son. Louis was Bengt's brother and was killed in a mining accident in 1882 or 83. Carl (actually called Gust) was adopted by Otto after Otto married Louis's widow, Mathilda Anderson.

Hi. Hope this gets out to you even tho its been 7 years since your post. My mother was Eleanor who died in 1967. I have a lot of information on the family if you wish to ask me. Nearly all the names you list are familiar to me. My middle name is actually Gust who's parents were Bengt and Christina Grandma Blanda's parents were August and Augusta Gustafson. Still living of the children are Aileen, Mildred, Gloria, Evelyn, Paul and Thelma. But some of this you must know if you are actually one generation behind me. Let me know what else you might need.
