I am wondering if anyone knows where specifically Catch Mark Island in Menominee Mi is? My great grandfather Henry K. Evans, son of Eli B. Evans, was born 1849 "on Catch Mark Island, near the Menominee side of the island adjacent to Riverside Golf club" If this is the island near Riverside Cemetery and the golf course, is this platted as Menominee MI yet ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
