I have a Directory for Ludington and Mason County that says my 2xgreat Uncle was on a government seat 1875 for
Pere Marquette His name was James Edmund Campbell.

I am at a dead end to his Parents and I was wondering where I might beadle to get in contact with the right people that may have documents for him. It seems to me if he was a state employee they must have some sort of quality records for him. Any advise is appreciated.
