I am currently researching Marquette County for Telesphore Tousignant (1861-1918) and wife Elizabeth Roi (1866-1943). They had 14 children. Eldest son Wilfred had 14 children. Their youngest son, Harry is 96 years old living in florida. He says Elizabeth died on Dec. 5, 1943 in Gwinn, Mich. but the Records in Lansing state there is no such person. Harry says the Telesphore also went by "John" and Elizabeth's last name as "King". Very confusing. Does anyone have info re: where they were married (unable to locate in Quebec)-found their birth records. Telesphore death record listed name as "Talis". Also any info on Elizabeth death record. I do have extensive family info to share.
