Passed away on January 17, 2010 at Tendercare of Westwood. Andrea was born on July 20, 1941 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of Edward J. and Ann (Kelchak) Juszczyk. Andrea worked for the City of Warren for 38 years, retiring in 1999 from the City Clerk's office. During her career she developed many lasting friendships. She will be remembered as an animal lover who put animals and others before herself. She loved music, participating in high school and college marching bands and was active in bowling, skiing, judo and card playing. Andrea was also an avid fan of all sports. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward in May of 2009. Andrea is survived by her mother, Ann; two sisters, Christine Juszczyk of Kalamazoo and Maureen Parkinson of Traverse City; a nephew, Greg (Barbara) Parkinson of Traverse City; a niece, Tracey Snow (Mark Kleckner) of Bethesda, MD; two great nephews: Corey Parkinson and Ryan Snow and a great niece, Christy Parkinson. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 2-5 PM at

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 25, 2010 at St. Augustine Cathedral. Fr.. Harry Potter Celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal charity of donor's choice or Southern Care Hospice, 4341 S. Westnedge Ave. Suite 2100, Kalamazoo, 49008. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Tendercare of Westwood Nursing Home and the staff of Southern Care Hospice for their compassionate and loving care.
