Looking for information on Roger Payton, living in Mt. Clemens in 1979.

I found mention of him in Steve Adams' obits (both attached) as his stepson. Steve Adams is the second husband of my Great Grandmother Leona Payton. My mother insists that Roger Payton is not her son.

Would like to know who his parents were and if he is related to me.
