Bontom66. what time frame is your Benjamin from? Your story sounds like what I've been trying to dig through. I have an Ann Shars/Shears/Shares that married Isaac Miller. The only children I can place with them is Francis (Frank) M. Miller 1853-1907 my great grandfather and a sister Cimantha. This is from the 1850 Federal Census. I have a letter from Franks aunt that tells he was bound out young and ran away. He'd stopped at her fathers on his way to wherever he ran to. Our family story also says they had a lot of kids and dumped them off when they were old enough. It would be nice if Ben and Frank were siblings!!!
