I'm researching the family of Charles Rousseau and Charlotte Martin (my 2nd great grandparents)and their 4 children. Before marrying Charles she married Antoine Babineau and had 2 children with him. I have Charlotte's father as Solomon Martin born about 1794 in Canada and her mother as Lisette Duprise (several spelling versions).

I've been told Solomon Martin's dad was Antoine Martin but I've also been told this is not true as there were 2 Solomon Martin's.

I don't have a lot of information on this family yet because I'm researching the Rousseau angle and it's been a brick wall for 15 years.
