Hi,Thanks for the info,I'd love to see some of the older pictures,wonder if ol' Willis is in any?? He had quite a few "irons in the fire" around Hessel.He married and divorced before he moved to the U.P.He had 2 illegitimate kids,a son,who was adopted out,and a daughter,by Ida Brand-Latham (a woman who lived next door to him,and was his housekeeper)In one census,Willis,Ida,her husband Charles & little Margaret were all living togather in Willis' boarding house. Willis left all his holdings to Margaret who married a Kenneth "Ted" Kerr( They had 4 kids,I believe).
Thanks again for the info,I'll try the link to the facebook page,are there any of the older pictures posted on there?Since Willis died in Jan 1950,I'd really be interested in seeing some from before that timeframe,in hopes of seeing some sort of a family resembalance,to his 1/2 sister,my GGGrandma.Lori
