Do you remember an orchard nearby? Can you describe the house on the hill? I have a feeling this camp may have been near the property of the house I grew up in in the late 80s and 90s and if that's the case, then no, this camp is no longer there. Subdivision development began in the late 1960s over the Van Amberg apple orchard. I have read about the Lyons cemetery and have been wondering where exactly it's located/whether the stones are still present. According to the 1915 plat map of Brighton Twp, it's located on the corner of what is currently someone's wooded backyard. I'd love to go look for it but I dont want to trespass.
