It sounds like you were following my footprints.. Gilberts death date was listed in Gendis.. no other Warners were listed. No clue where he is buried but assuming it in Adrian.
So far no hits as to what happen to his wife.. so only chance of figuring him out is an obit.. it might tell me where he is buried and maybe list his parents name or surviving family.
So, yes, if can can check local paper for an obit..
