There is a government issue grave marker for him in the churchyard of the Omena Presbyterian church. He enlisted in Company K, 1st Michigan Sharpshooters June 13, 1863, at Northport, He was then 19. He was honorably discharged in 1865. I have found no mention of him in Leelanau county records. I would like to get names of his parents, siblings, and/or cousins.
