I would be interested to learn more about George W. Davis, you mentioned he was a minister?

Funny you mentioned Swartz Creek, I used to live there when I was a child (briefly). I was born in Mt. Clemmons, at Selfridge AFB. Never have even been to South Carolina, although some distant Gaines relatives have lived there. Probably some Owen ancestors, too.
