David was born 21 Sept 1799 married in New York State where all eleven children were born.
David died 1860 Mary 1855 in Hadley Township, Lapeer County, MI. David was born Sept 1799.
He, wife Mary and living children [total number was eleven born to both wives] came to MI somewhere between time his last child Sarah E. born 1849 in Barre County N.Y. and 1850 when he is found on the MI Lapeer Census.
Children surving to adults that married were Phebe married Bixby; Henry John married Crampton; Joseph 1845, Shelby Basin, New York married Sypher; [Henry was also born in Shelby Basin, Sarah born 1849 in Barre married DeVoe lst husband Foster.
Children by Abigal who are known to have married:
Jacob 1823 married Babcock; Lucy 1827 married Hamilton.

Lucy died in BayCounty, MI
Jacob lived at one time in Lapeer county
Phebe lived in Genesee also Saginaw County, Henry lived in Muskegon county, Joseph lived and died in Genesee County
however many of his grandchildren were born in Gladwin county, Sarah lived in Saginaw County.

Jessie Buschen a lst cousin once removed at age of 91 stated she heard as a child from Joseph and wife Mary the Cummings came by many. Young, old, married with family and single adults. She did not know at that time if it meant from New York state [this could well have been].
