Are there any pictures that exist of when
Copper Falls actually had residents? For example: overview of town, some houses, people, etc. Also asking the same regarding
Petherick. I am -guessing- that the two places were relatively close together. Also: German/Catholics from this area would have been buried where? I know some are in
Pine Grove in
Eagle Harbor, but anywhere else to look? My gr-gr-grandparents (
Gottlieb Wappler & Mary
Wills Wappler)were married there 09/01/1852 and all their children were born there from 1853-1864, and my gr-gr-grandparents would have died in 1867 (
Gottlieb) & 1874 (Mary). One more question: where would the "half-way house" be in relation to
Copper Falls/Central Mine (which I know were close together)? My gr-grandfather, Henry
Warbler drove the stage coach there for a while - 1870s. Much has been uncovered regarding Central but I am having a real hard time finding information about
Copper Falls.
