Daniel, I am interested in a Charlie Bessolo/Bessalo who married a Myrtle Engel/Engels/Engles. She is our aunt and I am trying to find info on the Engel family and not having luck so thought I would going through who they married to see if I have better luck.

Thank you for your reply.Sorry : I don't speak spanish but only french, english and italian. My family came from Scarmagno too, one century ago. "Bessolo" is a part of Scarmagno. Maybe we are relatives !

My Family came from the Scarmagno area also. I do not have much and would love any help you may be able to provide.
We had a lady who came to my in laws house for Christmas
every year for Dinner. Her name was Teresa Bessalo. She and her mother said that the Bessalo's and the Revello's were cousins. But I have not been able to put them together yet.
The Revello's have been a dilema also. Michel is said to have come to the Upper Penninsula of Michigan to work in the iron mines with his son James. Michel is said to have gone back to Italy. His wifes name is said to be Mary. James stayed in Michigan and married Clara Simoneau. And had 2 boys. Gerald James and Wallace John Revello. Both had families which I have a lot of info on. But have not been able to put the Bessalo's and the Revello's together yet. I have to put a call in to the in laws to get Teresa's parents names. Just this Christmas Wallace told me that the Family came from Scarmagno, Italy. Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Donna Revello

Hi Alicia,
Boy you are quick. The Bessalo's I am refering to lived in Kinsford, Michigan. The Revello's settled in Marquette Countyy. My mother in law remembered Teresa's mothers name was Mary. But couldn't remember what her fathers name was. I saw it many years ago on the census for Dickinson County. But wasn't working that line of the family then. Will have to go back the next time I'm home visiting.
