I checked at www.wmgs.org to check on the descendant names you gave. (That's the website of West Michigan Genealogical Society). They have a database of deaths, marriages that were published in the Grand Rapids newspapers. There is a Samuel listed (one of the descendants you mentioned) who died in 2010; as well two names of Joseph, and two of Isabel with earlier deaths. If you want to check those out, and if they are an obituary listing, I can check the text of the obituaries if you are interested. They are on microfilm at the Grand Rapids Public Library.
