Graveside services were held Friday forenoon at 10:30, at Evergreen cemetery, for LeRoy Vyrl, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Vyrl Graydon, of Flint, who passed May 29, 1940. Rev. O. B. Ansted officiated. The baby was five weeks when he contracted pneumonia, which was the cause of his death. Mrs. Graydon will be remembered here as Bernice Lampshire. Surviving besides the parents are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Colbert of Kalkaska, as well as many other relatives. - The Leader and the Kalkaskian, 1940
