Frank A. Wolff Dies
Frank A. Wolff, 81, of 420 S. Cherry Street, Kalkaska, died Monday, December 20, 1976, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Wolff was born in Putnam County, Ohio, on March 27, 1895, son of the late Joseph and Frances Langhlas Wolff. He was married to Olive Nelson on December 2, 1916, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
He retired as a lineman from Michigan Bell Telephone in 1931. In 1932, he moved to Fife Lake, where he farmed until 1966, and moved to Kalkaska.
Surviving are his wife; Olive, 1 son, Solon Wolff; 3 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Clark of Fife Lake; Mrs. Dolly Tipton of Traverse City, and Mrs. Faye Wood of Owosso; 1 brother, Theodore; 2 sisters, Mrs. Theresa Parent of Pontiac, and Mrs. Armila Reule of Ann Arbor; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 23, 1976, at the Schwartz-Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Carl Holgren, pastor of the Peoples Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Springfield Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
