SCHWALLIE, Margaret K.

Passed away Friday morning in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Lakewood, OH, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Ruth Dagger Livingston. She was a 1942 Graduate of North Canton High School and lived there until moving to Kalamazoo in 1962. Margaret retired from UpJohn Pharmaceuticals in 1986, where she worked in data entry, and moved back to North Canton in 1998. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton where she sang in the choir, was a former member of the Board of Directors of Stark County Medical Auxiliary and was Property Manager and actor with the Kalamazoo Civic Theater. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul Schwallie, in 1995, her son, Gary Schwallie, a sister, Shirley Ellsworth, and a brother, George Livingston. Survived by one son, Dan Schwallie, of Hudson, OH; one daughter and her special friend, Karen Colwell and Jack Wadsworth, of North Canton; seven grandchildren, Chuck Colwell, Terri Hoagland and her husband, Richard, Halden Schwallie, Kailey Schwallie, Jeff Schwallie, Chris Schwallie, and his wife, Rachel, and Adam Schwallie; and five great grandchildren. According to her wishes, following cremation there will be no services; her ashes will be buried in Ft. Custer National
Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.
