COOK, L. Timm
Born November 27, 1934 son of Mae and C. Louis Cook, in Kalamazoo, MI passed away May 27, 2009 in
Lakeland, FL. Timm graduated from Kalamazoo Central and served in the U.S. Navy from 1953-1957 aboard the battleship USS
Wisconsin. He graduated from the Western
Michigan University and moved to
Florida in 1961, settling with his wife, Mary and children on
Treasure Island. He was a pharmaceutical representative for
Hoechst Pharmaceuticals for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann (
Duncanson) Cook; five children, Diane
Weisner, Scott (Theresa) Cook, Tracy and Crystal
Andrews, Tammy (John) Kile; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters in
Michigan, James (
Patty) Cook of
Portage, Catherine (Charles)
Emrick of
Schoolcraft, Marianna Cook of
Lawton, George Cook of Grand Rapids, C. William (Darla) Cook of
Portage and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Timm loved to travel, fish and hunt with family and friends in the upper peninsula of
Michigan especially around the Watersmeet area. We will all love and miss him so very much. May God keep him safe.
