Ionia County, I have traced back the above ancestors and have found difinte ties to Ionia County. I too lived there for a couple of years during the late '50s. I am trying to relocate with family living and dead in that area, Texas isn't really that far away.

Looking for information on Mabel Garnet Butterfield who gave birth to David Willis McCoy in April of 1917 in Wexler County, Harrietta, Michigan. Maybe possible link to Butterfields of Iona County.

I have a John J. Johnson married to Malinda Pratt. They are both buried in Baptist Cemetery, Lake Odessa, Ionia, Michigan.

Their son, James A. Johnson, married Emma J. Kenyon in 1879 in Sebewa, Ionia, Michigan. Both are buried in West Sebewa Cemetery, Sebewa, Ionia, Michigan.

John J. Johnson's parents were Daniel Johnson and Deborah Simpson. Malinda Pratt's parents were Alphonse Pratt and Alpha Omega Chase.
