From the Helca Cemetary in Houghton County. Was Looking for relatives of mine; Stephan & Frances Jozkowiak. (Frances died in 1894-1898. While searching the stones jotted down the following names & dates. The location # starts with #1 at the large Hammes tomb and works it's way forward in a zigzag patern with #43 being the farthest from #1. Some of the letters cannot be made out, these are represented by _. Also some are "best guess's on my part, so be warned there may be errors. There probably were 20 or so with no lettering whatsoever. Also many were discovered by stepping on them, that is they were still completely covered by growth on November 6th. There are probably many more yet to be discovered. I will be returning in the spring for one last more through search.
Finally some of the stones may not be readable, but the nearby bases were; so if only a surname is given it was obtained from the base.
