My grandparents were Adam & Emily (Tulppo) Keränen.
Both were born in Finland amd when the came to the US they lived in the copper country. Mostly in Atlantic Mine.
Adam had 5 children with his first wife and 7 children with Emily. If you think Adam & Emily are part of you Keränen's let me know.

Also, my mom's best friend was Lulu Keranen; I understand that she is deceased. Lulu and my mom, also deceased, were from Atlantic Mine in copper country.

The name "Couture" is in my family tree also. Cordelia Couture married Daniel Fisher, she was the daughter of Noel J. and Marie Odille Decosse Couture.

Cordelia was born 1884 d. 1948
Noel J. was born 1848 and dies after 1930
Marie was born 1848 and dies after 1910.

I was looking for another Couture family some time ago and I did come across Noel and Odile in Grant Township, Michigan. I found a couple of births and marriages in that area. The family must have gone back and forth to Canada (I assume). There seems to be a gap between the births of the children.
I found the marriage of Daniel Fisher, age 25 and Delia Couture, age 16, of Benton TWP, MI, she was born in Cheboygan, MI. I didn't see her birth record in their county records or I could have missed it. You may want to try the Church records in Cheboygan and see if you can locate a baptismal record.
