According to marriages reported to the State of Michigan from St. Joseph County, Raymond A. Robison, age 22, White, of Sturgis, born in Indiana, a Woodworker, AND Clara A. Reading, age 19, white, of Sturgis, born in Branch County, a Factory Worker, were married on June 12, 1920 at Sturgis, Michigan by William W. Slee, Minister, with John S. Hilber and Tillie E. Slee as witnesses, both of Sturgis.

Raymond Robison's parents were: J.A. Robison and Cora Bell, and Clara Reading's parents were C.M. Reading and Maud P. Brockelbank.

Thank you again. This verifies that Raymond's parents are the ones I found in the 1900 census. I knew he was married to Clara but I wasn't sure about his parents names. This is at least a start.

I just came across your post and was wondering if you have any information on the following family members, Draper Decker who married Sarah Chena in 1859 (it said Hill County - so I am assuming Hillsdale county). Draper's sister Nancy Jane Decker Munsell and her husband Lewis F Munsell. I know they lived Lawrence (Van Buren Co) for most of their lives, but I am hoping to find more on the Decker family (Originally from NY). Any info would be helpful.

I am looking for information on Frederick John Zimmerman and his wife Polly. They moved to Ransom Township around 1841, with their daughter, Mary Jane, and her husband Robert J. Nichols. They also had a younger daughter with them, Joanna (Anna). Frederick died 15 Jul 1845, Ransom Township, Hillsdale, MI. Polly (Mary Ann) died 21 Dec 1844, in the same location. They are both buried in Hillsdale Cemetery.

I am looking for any kind of will, that might list other children. I am also wondering if any of the Zimmermans living in that area might be brothers of John.
