I am looking for an obituary for Rosmary (McKeown)Christensen that appeared in the Flint Journal about 9/30/2008. I have been trying to get a hold of Rosemary's grandaughter to get a copy of the obituary. Any help on this obit would be greatly appreciated.

Deceased Name: CHRISTENSEN, Rosemary J.
Of Flint, died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at her home. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint, Mi, Fr. Paul Schwermer officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI and 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Church. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rosemary was born to Norbert and Minnie (Klein) McKeown of Flint, Michigan. Rosemary married Leonard A. Christensen on November 23, 1939 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a founding member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She taught piano and ceramics from her home. She was a skilled artist in oil, water, and China painting. She returned to college and earned her Associate's degree in Fine Arts. She also enjoyed writing short stories and poems and assisted her sister with researching several books. One of Rosemary's favorite pastimes were going to the "Mountain" and contributing to the local Indian Tribes. Her main love in life was her family and her cat, Misty. A special thank you to Genesys Hospice and especially Michelle Ford for her wonderful support early each morning and to Father Gary McGinnis for his special compassion. Surviving are brother, Norbert L. McKeown, Patty (Danny) VanSlyke; son, David (Karolyn) Christensen; grandchildren, David (Liz) Aiken, Jeffrey Aitken, Joel Vanslyke, Mary (Terry) Aitken and Michele Morse. There are 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Bob Schaechlin and sister-in-law, Clarice Christensen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her sister, Patricia. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 2413 S. Linden Rd, Flint, MI 48532

Thank you so very much. I have tried to contact Rosemary's family and have not heard back. When I found out she passed away, I tried to contact them again.
