The only information I can find on the death of Asa Peter Jones is 4 March 1875. Can not find where he is buried or find his wife Lydia Morse Jones. His parents are only listed as being from NY without any names.
Asa P and Lydia were in the 1870 Census of Thetford.
Asa and Lydia were in the 1860 Elgin County, Canada.
Was hoping new information had been found on his burial or where Lydia Morse Jones died. James Jones and Delphine Jones and family were also with him in the 1870 Census.
Delphine married a Homer Andrews and has two children in the 1870 Census.

Thank You. Asa Peter Jones was listed twice with a year apart. Interesting. The James Jones could be his son that died when fairly young.
Appreciate you helping, I will send for the 1876 copy as it may tell me more information.

I was certain that I would be able to post some good news for you tonihgt, but unfortunately, it didn't work out as I had hoped.

I noticed a Lydia Jones listed on the FGHS website as being buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, just south of Clio. This would make sense for people from Thetford Township. Sadly, the Lydia there is the wrong lady.

I'll run down to the Flint Library tomorrow and see if there was an obit in the Journal. That might tell us where she's buried.

Thanks for your offer on my Asa Peter Jones. I have a copy of his supposed death certificate. Outside of the two different dates and he was married the rest didn't tell me much. This makes his wife Lydia Morse Jones floating around somewhere. She was last on the 1870 Michigan Census.
I was rechecking notes and noticed it didn't give a reply for me.
